Strawberry cream liquor recipe


Ingredients 2 cups strawberries, picked ripe (or frozen if frozen) 1 cup orange liqueurs (such as pineapple, lemon or grapefruit) 1/2 cup strawberry jam 1/4 cup white sugar (or honey or maple syrup) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup white rum 1/8 teaspoon fresh lemon juice Directions Combine strawberries, orange liquors and jam in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large mixing bowl.

Add white rum and fresh lemon and stir to combine.

Stir in rum and lemon juice, and mix well.

Pour into a chilled glass, and garnish with a few fresh strawberries and a lemon twist.
